The house has a wooden frame, with a thickness of 145mm. This also means that the
Ecovilla insulation in the walls throughout the house is 145mm.
The outer walls, marked with stripes in the images, are wood. This part of the house has
an outer wall in log. Here the log is 70x180mm + the frame that is 145mm.
The part of the wall, that is marked here in white, is a brick wall.
This is similar to a traditional Spanish house.
The difference is the wooden frame behind the bricks with 145mm Ecovilla insulation.
The upper wall in the fifth picture is again made in log panel.
You can see that we are able to make our houses in different shapes.
The air changing system, powered by Enervent from Finland, is also new in Spain.
In basement we have the small “Pingvin” unit to change the air in the whole basement.
In the upper levels we have installed the “Pelican” unit.
This unit is also equipped with a cooler unit.
What is then so unique with the Enervent units ?
If we are, for example talking about the “Pelican” unit here in our house :
- The unit is separating the humidity from the air “before” the air is reaching the cooler unit.
- This means that we need less energy to cool the supply air.
- Due to the rotary heat exchanger we are able to recover about 82-85% of the energy from the exhaust air, back to the house.
- With the Enervent units, we also have fresh air in toilets without opening the windows.
- These units also have a inbuilt filter system, which means less dust in the house.
All this together. You have to see and feel this house to understand
the big different in LIVING and LIVING.
